Seems to me like Dr. Phil used to position his show to be a cut above Maury and Jerry, but lately I think he's decided to abandon nearly all pretenses. Yeah, he's still got a degree and friends he can farm out the basket cases to, but he's choosing his guests from the bottom of the barrel instead of the top.
